- Financial Information system for US based company
Volti principals successfully ported several high-end Windows server products to Linux. The server product suite provided real-time database/search engine capability that delivers sub-millisecond response times to client queries for financial information. The server products handle real-time market information as well as historical market data that can span years. Each day’s market data typically requires 1+ GB of disk space. The server products use innovative algorithms to manage huge amounts of data in memory and still be responsive to hundreds of concurrent clients.

VC funded Object Router company
Volti principals developed technology that allowed for object level brokering and bridging between Microsoft Component Object Model (COM) and Java (RMI and Corba). This company’s technology allowed COM servers to be extended to 3 tiers using Java/RMI as the client tier with minimal reengineering. A key demo application consisted of a complete high performance Outlook client using Java/Swing connected to Microsoft Exchange using Collaboration Data Objects.
